Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview Favorites

Fashion lovers, this is our time! If you're a bargain hunter like me, you probably already know that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is coming up in August, and they released their sale preview catalog this past Friday. The gag with this sale if you're not already familiar is that Nordstrom puts a ton of brand new arrivals on sale, and then the prices go back up to full price once the sale ends. Unlike previous years, the entire selection of sale items is available to view before the sale begins, which is great because shoppers can now go in and "pre-shop," add things to their wishlists, and then purchase them when the sale begins.

The sale opens on a rolling basis beginning August 4th depending on your Nordy Club status, as detailed below. You can find all of the other dates and sale details here. I for one will be shopping when the sale opens to the public (August 19th), so I'm sure a lot of things will be sold out by then, but I've had good luck in years past catching things that I want when they come back during restocks or when people return things.

MAJOR DISCLAIMER for this sale: while it's super fun to shop and gets you excited for fall fashion, this is not the best sale on planet earth. It's easy to give into the hype of it and buy things you don't actually *need* just because of all the excitement built up around it by bloggers. Everything in the sale (with the exception of beauty exclusives) will come back in stock after the sale is over, and you will more than likely be able to find it on sale later in the fall, or even on Nordstrom Rack. With that being said, it is a great time to pick up fall wardrobe staples that you've had your eye on, and they have awesome exclusive beauty sets.
