XOXO

Valentine's Day is almost here! Whether you're celebrating with someone or just yourself, I think it's always a fun holiday to #TreatYoSelf and surround yourself with all things pink and heart shaped.

Shirt (similar) | Jeans | Heels | Headband | Earrings | Bag | Lipstick (shade "Rouge Ultime")
Today I'm sharing this adorable office-approved outfit that's perfect for Valentine's Day or any time of year. Obviously the lip-print gives the shirt those V-Day vibes, but since the rest of the outfit is fairly muted, you're not running around looking like cupid.

I got this shirt a few years ago and it's no longer available, but I found a comparable short-sleeved version that's just as cute. It's one of my favorites, and wearing it always sparks joy. The stripes are actually navy blue, but pretty easy to pass off as black like I did with this outfit.

These shoes are a staple for the office! I have a pair in black and nude. The block heel makes them more comfortable and easier to walk in than a classic stiletto. Plus, I just love the look.

Clearly, my knotted headband obsession lives on. I have more than ten now and wear one almost every day, which I never thought I would! They just make doing your hair so much easier, and I think they're so flattering.

Speaking of hair, let's talk curls. I rarely curl my hair just because frankly, I don't feel like putting in the effort, and I'd also rather avoid the damage. My hair doesn't hold a curl well at all, which is why I couldn't even have it curled for my wedding. I've always used a random curling wand (the brand is literally "Generic Value Products") that I bought at Sally's Beauty several years ago and it's always done the trick. Over the past few years, I've seen everyone raving about the T3 curling wand, so I'd been dying to see what all the hype was about. I got one back in December and when I used it... it barely curled my hair at all! It got plenty hot so I know there was nothing wrong with the actual wand, but it only curled my hair a little, and the curls fell out after a very short amount of time compared to when I use my cheap curling wand. I returned the T3 one and went back to my trusty Sally's curling wand! I highly recommend it. If you have hard-to-curl hair like I do, give it a try!

Last but not least, this cutie little bag. I got it because I REALLY want the Celine Nano Luggage crossbody, but am most certainly not willing to dish out the dough for it. I think this bag is a great look for less, and does everything I need it to. It comes with a crossbody strap which is how I normally wear it, but with the small bag trend still going strong, I also love wearing it without the strap sometimes.

I hope you're having a great week., AND AS ALWAYS:

xoxx,
Laura
