Cheers to the freakin' weekend, guys. Just kidding, I know it's not the weekend yet, I'm just preparing. The weather has been SOOO beautiful this week, all I've wanted to do has been sit outside on my deck with a coffee or a glass of wine, depending on my mood the time of day.

Shirt dresses are one of my very favorite things to wear during the spring and summertime. They're so easy to throw on and look polished, whether you're headed to the office or to the coffee shop to meet a girlfriend. When I saw this green and white striped shirt dress at J.Crew, I had to have it! It's currently on sale for $40 with code "SHOPSALE" and comes in several colors and patterns. J.Crew is my favorite place to shop, and they have a ton of great shirt dresses right now! I'm linking my favorites below:
As far as sizing goes, this dress has a relaxed fit. I go between a 0
and a 2 in J. Crew sizing, so I opted for a 0 in this one based on
reviews saying it ran large. It fits just right, but I could've also gone with a 2 for a
more relaxed fit, so it'd say sizing would be based on your fit preference. It's 100%
cotton, so keep potential shrinkage in mind when picking a size if you
plan to dry it in the dryer.
I wore this dress on our recent trip to Savannah, and it was a great choice for walking around, taking a riverboat cruise, and being generally touristy. A shirt dress is definitely something I would recommend packing on your next vacation, whether you're going to the city or the beach! Shirt dresses make great swimsuit cover ups, too.
