Mineral Face Sunscreens I Love

My mom ALWAYS made me wear face sunscreen every day starting in middle school, and I didn't understand why back then, but now as an almost-30-year-old I'm SO glad she did! Due to some skin issues I started having last year, I've switched to primarily using mineral sunscreens. Finding mineral sunscreens that I like is more difficult because of the notorious white cast that they're known for having. Even with my fair skin, a lot of mineral sunscreens can leave me looking like a ghost, so I tend to lean toward tinted ones.

My number one favorite face sunscreen over the last year has been the La Roche Posay Anthelios Tinted Face Sunscreen - it's a very thin formula that blends into your skin easily and provides a nice subtle wash of color, which is especially great for no-makeup days. I also appreciate that it's SPF 50 - I've found it harder to find a good mineral sunscreen in a higher SPF.

I got this Dr. Dennis Gross All-Physical Lightweight Wrinkle Defense sunscreen as a gift with purchase and loved it! It's also a very thin formula like the La Roche Posay but has a translucent formula rather than a tint. I'm also very interested in trying this one from the brand, which is newer.

My friend recommended this Hero Force Shield sunscreen - it's the same brand as the famous Mighty Patches, which I also love!) It's super lightweight and easy to blend, and it has a sheer green tint to help counteract redness.

My fourth pick is this Clinique Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen, which I also got as a gift with purchase and fell in love with. Much like the Dr. Dennis Gross, it's a translucent, fluid formula.

Above, I've linked some mineral sunscreens I haven't used before but am interested in trying. Let me know if you've used and loved any of them, or if you  have any other recommendations you swear by! I know that there are a lot of great Korean ones on the market, but I often only see those on Amazon and I don't really trust Amazon for sunscreen in most cases because I see so many people warn about counterfeit and expired products.
