Styling a Square Scarf

When it comes to classic accessories, square silk scarves are heroes when it comes to longevity and versatility in your wardrobe. I'm always looking for ways to incorporate my favorite square scarves into my warm weather outfits, so today I'm sharing some styling inspiration along with some of my favorite scarves available this season! Scroll to the bottom for an easy tutorial for my favorite way to fold a scarf

I love a scarf belt! You have to get a fairly large scarf so that it is long enough to go all the way around your waist - start with one that's approximately 30x30" and go up from there.

For me, the most versatile way to style a scarf is to tie it onto a bag. it's a great way to add a pop of color to your outfit without actually "wearing" the scarf. I also want to wear my scarves "bandana" style around my neck this season too since western style is having a moment. I see other girls doing it and it looks so chic, the Americana answer to the chic Parisian bandana scarf styling.

This diagram is the technique I use to fold my scarves when I want to wear them as a belt or tie them in a bow. It makes them nice and long and skinny without the bulk that rolling them gives.

I got heart eyes when I saw this seashell scarf - you know I cannot resist anything with seashells on it! This pink nautical option is equally as fun.

This still-life botanical pattern is drop dead gorgeous. You could frame it and hang it in your home! I also love this citrus one with the blooms and all.

Another motif that always catches my eye is anything palm tree printed - this scarf is a beautiful neutral, and this one is fun for a pop of pink!
