Yesterday my mom texted me: "Sardines?"
To which I was like, "What? 😂"
She said: "New fashion trend?"
I don't know where she heard that, but "Surprisingly yes."
Little did she know I was already working on this post of marine-themed pieces that align with the current "sardines" trend. 😂
I've always been a lover of all things beachy and nautical (the 2010's anchor trend was MAJOR for me 😂) so the marine motif trend is right up my alley.
This mini dress is SOOO fun - it'd go perfectly with my favorite colorful beaded necklaces! You know I love a caftan dress - this one has the sweetest embroidered detail and would double as a fancy swimsuit cover up. This dress is a great look for less for a much pricier Farm Rio version and has great reviews.
I've been seeing the Staud Tommy bag everywhere over the last year and think they're just so cute - the fish ! A lot of great looks-for-less have popped up in their wake. This one is only $30 and SO similar - I love the lobster pattern!
I love a beaded necklace and this one featuring a fish charm would be a perfect layering piece. I also love these raffia earrings - summer is the perfect time to break out the statement jewelry to dress up a simple sundress! I love kitschy rings this time of year too - this ring from my favorite silver retailer is too cute!
I hope you all have a great long weekend! Any fun plans? We might go canoeing with my family tomorrow and then I think we're meeting up with friends for a cookout on Sunday, so it should be a fun few days!
