Happy last post of 2024!! It's been a holiday whirlwind over here as I'm sure it's been for you as well - I have had so much going on that I feel like I've barely had a minute to myself! Luckily I've had some free time to decompress the past couple of days, which has been MUCH needed for an introvert like me. I've been trying to soak up every minute because I know I will miss the bustle once I'm back in my routine in a couple of weeks, and it has been great seeing my friends at home lately!
Today I'm sharing a fun winter outfit that I've worn a few times over my holiday break, featuring the cutest Polo Bear sweater ever! You may remember it from this post from a couple of years ago. I first saw it on Kris Jenner on an episode of KUWTK years ago and had to track it down on the resale market - it took a couple of years, but I finally found the perfect one on eBay! It's a men's XS and fits perfectly with room to layer a button up underneath (I normally take a women's small), but I could've done a small or medium for a more relaxed fit. I found several options available right now which I'm linking below. If you're searching for one, start with "men's Polo martini bear sweater."
I'm a tights girl, and my favorites for as long as I can remember have been the L'eggs Sheer Energy line. The nude ones in particular are very durable for tights, I wear them to the office at least a few times a week in the wintertime and I've had pairs last me entire seasons.
I don't wear these heels particularly often but they're a gorgeous, classic pair - I have them in black and nude, and they come in a ton of other colors. My favorite part about them is that the heel goes straight down in the back rather than contouring in, which makes them look more high-end in my opinion.
I hope you have the most wonderful finale to 2024! I don't have much planned, but Kenny and I are going over to my parents' at some point because my mom ordered some Chesapeake Bay clams and we're going to try and recreate these gorgeous white wine and butter clams that we had at The Shanty in Cape Charles over the summer - I'll share the recipe if it measures up! If you're in the market for a fun bubbly cocktail recipe to ring in the new year, try my take on the Quirk spritz (which I'm drinking above!)
CHEERS!!
xoxx, Laura
