Hello hello! Today I'm sharing the second installment of my holiday gift guides - gifts for all the guys in your life. I shared a "gifts for her" roundup last week, so check that post out too if you missed it! I find that for me, men are harder to shop for than women, so nearly everything on this list is something that I've given as a gift at least once and has been well received. Several of these things are things that I personally own too, so plenty of unisex ideas (and ideas I also shared in my "gifts for her" post).
Practical gifts are always nice, and the men in my life always enjoy getting things that they can use. Both my dad and I have this portable jump starter/air compressor and it is seriously a lifesaver, I think it's something everyone should keep in their trunk! My brother, mom, and I have all been gifted Dutch ovens over the years and that's a great thing to get as a gift because they're pricey but will last you a lifetime. I would pair it with some nice ingredients (high quality pasta, seasonings, etc.) or a cookbook!
I absolutely love this sweater fleece pullover and recommend it every year - I own the women's one, and I have gifted them to both my parents and my brother. They're great quality and super warm!
I love experiential gifts, and I think that cornhole boards or a Solo Stove are great options. While they're not "experiential" in the sense of a trip or a concert ticket, both are things that you can use when creating fun memories with friends and family for years to come!
One of my favorite gifts to give and receive each year is a calendar - I always get a daily calendar for my dad - in the past I've gotten daily holidays and dad jokes in the past, and this year I think I'm going to go for a fun facts one.
My dad is hard to buy for because he rarely wants or needs anything! One gift that he has loved so much that he's given it as a gift to others is this whiskey wedge glass. It's a rocks glass with an built-in ice mold that's perfect for enjoying liquor on the rocks - gift it alongside his favorite bourbon!
I love getting fragrances as gifts, but I know that taste in fragrance is very personal. If you're not sure what the person you're gifting to likes, I highly recommend this sample set that lets you try several different fragrances, and includes a voucher that you can cash in for a full size bottle of your favorite. If you're looking to gift a single fragrance, Kenny's favorite is Versace Dylan and my favorite on him is Burberry Hero. YSL Y is a safe pick too!
What are you getting for the guys in your life this year? I can ALWAYS use more inspiration!
xoxx, Laura
