Color Crush: Spring Green 💚

Pistachio, matcha, chartreuse... whichever shade strikes your fancy, spring green has been catching my eye lately! I've been heavily inspired by my friend whose wedding is coming up in a few months and spring green is one of her colors, which I absolutely love. As the seasons change and nature reawakens, spring green is the perfect color to incorporate to your wardrobe to mirror the livening up of the outside world.

This sweater is basically what inspired this post - I'm a big fan of a fun-colored sweater during this time of year where it's still chilly out, but I can't bear another deep dark winter outfit. The classic rollneck and relaxed fit make this 100% cotton knit a no-brainer.

I've gotten back into ballet flats over the last year or so, and I think these spring green steppers would be the perfect pop of color to pair with neutral basics and fun prints alike. Shades of green are one of the most striking "mismatch" colors to complement your look, I can envision these with an outfit dominated by pink or orange.

I am THRILLED that beaded "candy necklaces" have stayed on-trend this year! They're one of my favorite acessories for summertime, and this chunky green one is so chic, it reminds me of martini olives! I own this one along with several others from the same seller, and I love pairing it with a chunky pearl necklace.

I've been loving the satin pants trend - anything chic that can trick the eye into thinking you're wearing something more elevated than glorified pajamas is always welcome in my closet. The chartreuse shade of these very retro-glam to me. Imagine them with a feather-trimmed blouse

As I mentioned, my friend is getting married later this spring and while her bridesmaid dresses are black, I think these earrings would be so chic to wear with my gown as a nod to the spring green in her color scheme! It doesn't hurt that peridot is my birthstone and these have been on my wish list...

I'm a big fan of wearing small canvas totes as a handbag, they're a great piece to add a touch of casual 90's charm to an otherwise polished outft. This one is so darling in gingham and would make a great Easter gift.

I hope you're having a fabulous week! We're smack dab in the middle of the spring temperature yo-yo and I've had about enough of it.... it's in the 20's as I'm typing this, but forecasted to get up into the 80's just four days from now! Don't get me wrong, I'll take the warm days where I can get them, but I'm excited to have them for keeps hopfully sooner rather than later!
