Happy Wednesday, my friends! I'm popping in today to share one of my favorite holiday outfits that I rewear season after season. You really can't beat a plaid skirt when it comes to festive versatility - I'm wearing this same outfit as I type this with a chunky black sweater rather than a jacket! This one has bene my favorite for several years now. It's not currently available in red, so I'm linking several other skirt (and pants!) options below that you can style just as easily.
My tweed jacket is a classic - see me style it another way here! It's true to the size chart but runs a little roomy in general - I'm in the XS and it fits perfectly with room for a layer underneath. It also comes in ivory!
You've seen me style this bag MANY times before, it's probably my most worn bag in my closet! It's currently on sale for around $64 which is the cheapest I've ever seen it. It comes with a removable crossbody strap, too!
If you're looking for a nice and affordable pair of black tights for winter, I highly recommend these. I wear the size medium/B. They're soft and comfortable so they're not indestructible, but I'm careful with them and they last at least several wears.
These pictures were taken from inside the breathtaking Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia! Kenny and I had never been and decided to visit to see their Christmas decorations. It was the perfect first time there, we couldn't get enough of the gorgeously decked-out halls! They even had a massive gingerbread village made from real cookies.
I hope you're having a great week! This is my last week of work before my holiday break, and I know it's going to feel long!! I've been very busy both at work and in my personal life, I'm sure everyone is in the same boat right now. This weekend is my yearly baking Super Bowl as I will be making several different kinds of cookies to bring to a volunteer luncheon after working with my local Elk's Lodge on a charitable grocery delivery project that my family participates in every year. It's always a lot of work but so worth it! If you're interested in what I'm baking, I posted the tried and true recipes I use every year here.
xoxx, Laura
