When I envision the perfect dress to see me through the hottest days of summer, lightweight linen in a breezy, breathable cut is what first comes to mind. Make it in an aquatic seashell pattern and it's a must have for me! That's exactly what I found in this dress, which is just as fun to wear as it is to look at. It's true to size (I'm in the small) and the perfect length for my 5"7' frame. The seashell print is currently sold out, but it's also available in a classic blue and a fun tropical floral. 

Despite being smack dab in the middle of "long hot summer day" territory, you'll be hard-pressed to catch me without a layer close by in case of chilly evening air or arctic AC. I'm a major endorser of the summer sweater, and you can't beat a classic cotton rollneck as a year-round staple. 

These sandals have been my favorite white slides for years now, but it seems like the quality has declined in my newest pair! I'm on the hunt for a new style and it's surprisingly hard because I want something simple in genuine leather, but a lot of styles have too many details for my taste. I'll let you know if I find a winner! 

I hope you have a great weekend! I'm heading out of town with my parents to attend a celebration of life for one of our dearest family friends. It's bittersweet, but I'm looking forward to visiting my mom's bestie who I haven't seen in person for almost 6 years! She lives in Greenville, South Carolina and absolutely loves it there, and we've never visited since she moved so I'm excited to see it because
