July was a busy month and went by so quickly! Summer always flies, and I am looking forward to an action packed August as well. 😎 I have a shorter favorites list for July, but it has some long-time favorite that deserve a call-out as I've been enjoying them this month.
- Aerie set (shirt, shorts): I love a cute matching set for summertime to throw on with some comfy sandals and fun jewelry. This one from Aerie is such a winner! It's made from a lightweight, airy cotton and comes in a bunch of different colorways. The shorts are true to size, I got the XS because small was out of stock, but I could've worn a small too. The shirt runs very large, I got the XS and could've gone with an XXS and still have had plenty of room.
- Skull charm: A ~fun fact~ about me is that I love skulls, and while they don't necessarily align my style, I like to incorporate little skeletal touches sometimes where I can. I was recently shopping at my favorite estate jewelry store, and when I spotted a tiny skull pendant I couldn't resist! I'm linking this one which is very similar - it's such a cute mini pendant, especially since charms are on trend.
- OPI "The Thrill of Brazil": There are SO many shades of red nail polish out there, and this one became one of my favorites this month! It's a bright and punchy true red that complements my cool-toned fair skin.
- Abercrombie Emerson dress: I've had my eye on the Abercrombie Emerson dresses for a few years now and finally snagged one on clearance. I have worn it so much this month! It's true to size, I took the small tall since I am 5'7" and often find dresses are right on the verge of being too short - the tall is the perfect length. I also love that I don't have to wear a bra with it - I'm a 34C and the smocked back and pleated bodice make it easy to go FREE in this dress. 😂
- Franco Sarto Jonie boots: I didn't plan on making any Nordstrom Anniversary Sale purchases, but when browsing brown leather knee high boots I discovered this pair from one of my favorite brands was part of the sale so I had to give them a try. My favorite boots are the Katherines from Franco Sarto, but my one gripe about them is that they are faux leather. These are genuine leather and have the same slim-fitting shaft, so I know I'll wear them a ton later this year. They're true to size and have the perfect stacked block heel for comfort and stability. I got the "dark hickory brown" color and it's an extremely deep brown that is almost black. I am considering getting the black as well - they're on sale through Sunday!
- Paw Paw makeup sponges: I like using small sponges for blending concealer and I've seen people recommend these for years, so I grabbed a pack during Prime Day. I love how soft they are!
- Good & Gather Summer Sangria sparkling water: I like trying new sparkling water flavors, and this sangria one from Target is a winner. I love their Good & Gather brand sparkling waters, they're my favorite brand and they have a lot of unique flavor combinations - strawberry mango is my favorite.
- Lancome Juicy Tubes: This is one of my favorite lip glosses and I've been using it a lot lately because I recently restocked. It's very juicy and shiny but not sticky, and I like the squeeze tube applicator as opposed to a doe foot because it's more sanitary and easier to control the amount you apply.
- Watching: If you watch a lot of YouTube, have you seen any Killdozer_tv food challenge videos? My friend and I love them, he's so insane and the videos are almost unbelievable. 😂 You have to check it out! The second thing I loved watching this month was Amy Bradley Is Missing on Netflix - WOW what a great documentary! It is an unsolved case, and after watching the documentary I truly still don't know what might have happened to her. I feel so much for her family, I hope that they can get closure now that the case is gaining traction again.
I hope you have a fabulous weekend! I'm looking forward to hanging out with Kenny because we've both been busy and going in different directions for the past two weeks, so it will be good to get in some quality time. It's supposed to be in the 70's in Virginia for the next few days which will feel downright chilly for me! I do look forward to having the windows open though, I've had the AC cranking since June!
