- Beaded necklace: I LOVE a colorful layering necklace for summertime and this one is perfection! I've been layering it with all of my favorite smaller necklaces and it adds the perfect pop of color to a casual outfit.
- Gummies: I a big fan of gummies and I'll almost always grab new ones to try when I spot them. These seasonal rocket pop ones from Target are SO yummy - they're tiny little stars in strawberry, blue raspberry, and lemon.
- Raffia platforms: Raffia heels and a sundress are my go-to summer outfit combo. These platforms are incredibly lightweight, comfortable, and true to size.
- Tennis skirt: Tennis skirts are my go-to casual piece this year when I still want to feel a little dressy. This one from target has been my favorite the past couple of years and I've been excited to be wearing it again! It's true to size, I take the small.
- Lano SPF Balm: My favorite SPF balm that I've used since MIDDLE SCHOOL has seemingly been discontinued, so I was on the hunt for a replacement. Like magic, the brand that makes my FAVORITE lip balm of all time (the Lano 101 ointment) came out with an SPF option. Compared to the 101 balm this formula is less thick and has the slightest shimmer. It states that it's a tropical flavor but it's a very sweet caramely-vanilla in my opinion.
- Blue eyeliner: I got this light blue liner to wear for a pop of color in my waterline. I've been loving the formula for that purpose - it's creamy and easy to apply.
- Misfits protein bars: I am heavily influenced by protein bar marketing, so I had to give these a try after seeing them talked about on TikTok. I appreciate them offering a sample pack so I could try several flavors! Cookie dough was my favorite, but they were all good. They remind me of the Barebells bars which are another favorite of mine (and Kenny's!) I give them extra points for being vegan and still tasty, there are many plant-based protein bars that I can barely stomach.
- Seashell scarf: I discovered this brand through this scarf and fell in love - you all know I cannot resist a seashell accessory in the summer!
- Palm Breeze soap: My mom keeps this brand of soap all around my parents' house year-round, they're so beautiful they double as seasonal decor! The "palm breeze" scent is new to me and a new favorite. Keep an eye out for these soaps on your next T.J.Maxx/HomeGoods trip, they're much cheaper there and come in countless designs.
- Station necklace: This is another great layering necklace! I've had it for a couple of years now but find myself wearing it more in the warmer months. It looks like real gold and hasn't changed color on me yet.
- Watching: Lots of good shows this month! I thoroughly enjoyed the new season of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and already can't wait for the next season. I'm a big Benny Drama fan so Kenny and I started his new show Overcompensating on Amazon and we're loving it so far - it has similar vibes to Sex Lives of College Girls. I LOVE Molly-Mae and enjoyed the second installment of episodes in her documentary - I'm so happy that she and Tommy are getting back together! Kenny and I watched Sirens on Netflix last week and I really liked it, although I feel like a lot of the plot points were half-baked and it left a lot of questions unanswered, so I will be anxious to see if there is another season. The finale of The Rehearsal was UNREAL, the logistics involved were very Nathan For You-esque but multiplied by 100. The last new thing I've been enjoying watching is Killdozer on YouTube - he does insane eating challenges that are so crazy I can't look away. 😂
I hope you've had a great start to the month - happy JUNE, summer is almost officially here!
