Are you all staying cool out there? The summer heat is ON, but you won't find me complaining! For a casual look duirng this kind of weather, I have been reaching for my tried-and-true matching sets. I know wearing long sleeves may seem counterintuitive when it's so hot outside, but I love the light, airiness of an oversized shirt along with the shade it provides. Luckily I have a bunch of great matching sets to recommend that will carry you through this summer and many to come.
The blue and white set I'm wearing above is from Gap - I like a longer inseam for shorts and these are 6". The shorts and shirt are both true to size and have a relaxed fit, I'm wearing a small in both. There is also a matching pair of pants, and I love how many different color options they have.
Another favorite set of mine this summer has been this shirt and shorts from Lands End. The shorts border on TOO long which is perfect for me. 😂 I find this brand runs large, I wear an extra small in both pieces.
I've tried a few linen sets from Quince - this shirt and shorts have been my favorite due to the inseam, but I also like these shorts because they have a drawstring.
I have a set from American Eagle from a couple years ago that I love, and I love this shirt and shorts/pants combo they have this season. It's been sitting in my cart but I can only wear so many sets so I have not yet pulled the trigger. 😂
I hope you had a great week! Mine went by fast and I'm hoping for a nice weekend. 😎 It's calling for rain but you never know what will happen! We could use the rain but I would prefer it during the week when I'm stuck in the office!
