SHOP THE COLLAGE:

As we embark on another year, I always like to reflect on my favorite products I discovered over the last year or so. This is a compilation of my most-used products from my monthly favorites posts (published at the beginning of every month - read December's here) that I've loved over the last year or so, and are unique from last year's yearly favorites (all of which I still swear by - you can read my 2024 favorites here!)

    1. Beauty Creations eyeshadow in "Oh Hey": I've been loving this eyeshadow all year, I need to get a backup! It's a neutral shimmer that's fairly sheer but still has a nice amount of coverage. You can use it on its own or as a topper, and I apply it with my fingertip for maximum coverage.
    2. Half Magic Glitterpuck: I LOVE glitter makeup, and this product intrigued me so I had to try it. It's basically a giant glitter eyeshadow that you can use anywhere - I apply it with my finger to my eyes and sometimes my cheeks. It comes in three shades, I have it in "Dopamine Sparkle," and I'd try "Glimmer Pop" if I ever ran out. It has a unique cooling, wet feel when you apply it that I have never experienced in a product before!
    3. Queen Cosmetics glitter gloss: As previously stated, I LOVE glitter makeup! Queen Cosmetics makes the most amazing glitter lip gloss I've ever seen. I used to get it on TikTok Shop but they're sold at Ulta now! The shade "Astral Projection" is the most wearable in my opinion, but I also LOVE "Electric" which is the most unbelievable holographic glitter shade.
    4. Vacation Grand Cuvée: Kenny got this for me as a gift and it's a perfume he always compliments when I wear it. It's a unique unisex scent that's perfect for fall and winter - sexy and rich! The notes include vanilla bean, Chardonnay, peach eau de vie, sabered Champagne cork, argan, sunwashed sails, sunkissed skin, amber, cedarwood, and Cognac. It's a little sweet, a little woody, and a little boozy.
    5. David Yurman cable buckle bracelet: I stalked the pre-loved market for this bracelet for several months, and finally snagged one for a great price on TheRealReal. It was fairly tarnished when I got it which I think is why it was such a great price, but it polished up perfectly and looks good as new.
    6. Reversible two-tone huggie earrings: Kenny got these for me last Christmas and I get a ton of wear out of them since they're two-toned and reversible! When you have one side showing you really can't see the other side, so you can wear them without the "mixed metals" look if that isn't your thing.
    7. Diamond studs: Kenny got me diamond studs as a 5th anniversary gift from a local jeweler and I wear them ALL the time! The ones I linked aren't the exact ones I have, but the closest I could find online. Simple and classic!
    8. Silver jewelry polishing cloth: I wear a lot of silver jewelry and this polishing cloth is magic for cleaning up my pieces. I even use it for small silver home pieces.
    9. Sam Edelman Marley flats: With the rise in popularity of ballet flats over the past couple of years, I got these after not owning any for over 10 years. I've always been wary of flats because they tend to be uncomfortable despite lacking heels and constrictive toe shapes, but these could not be more comfortable! They're constructed from the perfect buttery leather that molds to fit your foot within the first wear - you'll forget you have these on. The grosgrain toe cap is the perfect Chanel-inspired touch that doubles as an extra layer of protection for the leather in that area. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than my usual size based on reviews and they fit perfectly. I published a full review of them here!
    10. Walmart sneakers: These under-$30 Hoka looks-for-less were my go-tos for walks all last year! I've never owned real Hokas, but these are true to size, perfectly comfortable, and lightweight. Plus, they wash up nicely in the washing machine!
    11. Straw bucket hats: I've become a major straw hat fan over the last several years, and bucket hats were my most-worn last spring and summer. I have a natural raffia one and a black one and they're the perfect chic accessory to throw on for additional sun protection.
    12. Small Boat and Tote: I bought this bag as a mini tote, but ended up using it as a handbag for a lot of the year and it's the best! It has plenty of space for anything you might need, and it's just so carefree and cool-girl.
    13. Raffia bag: In the summertime I'm almost always carrying my small raffia bag. The exact one I have is sold out, but this one is nearly identical - the tassel is removable.
    14. Silk sleep mask: I've been using this sleep mask brand for years and I have a few that I rotate between. I ordered a new one and was a little annoyed when it came in because it had padding in it that my other ones don't have! I ended up loving it even more than my others because the padding cups around your eyes so it provides maximum light blockage without putting pressure on your eyes. The original one without the padding is the "Black_original" colorway, and the padded one which is now my favorite is the "Black" colorway.
    15. Crave charger: This is something I've never mentioned in a favorites post but I realized I use it SO much so I had to include it in my yearly favorites! Kenny got this charger at LEAST seven years ago but I'm pretty sure it was longer. It charges very quickly and holds a lot of power so you can charge your phone multiple times before having to recharge the bank itself. It's still going strong after all these years!
    16. Phone screen protectors: My friend recommended these to me after finding out I had been buying expensive tempered glass screen protectors forever, and I'm pleased to assure you that these JUST as good as the pricey ones. They come in a pack of 3 for less than $10! I recently fell with my phone in my hand and SMASHED the screen onto gravel - ouch. The screen protector shattered but my actual phone screen was unscathed thank goodness!
    17. Acrylic table: I got this table to set my drinks on when I'm sitting outside in my deck chair in the summer, but I started using it inside too as a portable drink stand. So convenient!
    18. Mandoline and glove: If you're a home chef, a mandoline is the best for slicing things thinly and quickly. If you have a mandoline, wearing a protective glove is a non-negotiable. you do NOT want to nick your fingers on that blade!!
    19. 20oz Stanley tumbler: I did not need another cup (does anyone??) but I had to have this cute "mini" Stanley because I love that it has a handle. It's convenient for taking on walks!
    20. Zwiesel wine glasses: My favorite wine glasses are Riedel, but Zwiesel are a close second! They're thin yet durable. I had my eye on a set of red and white wine glasses, and my parents got them for me for my birthday, as well as one for themselves and my brother's girlfriend - we're all sipping in style. 😂
    21. Mini cocktail shaker: One of my favorite restaurants uses these mini cocktail shakers when you order a drink and I've always joked about wanting to steal one. My friend got me one for my birthday so I wouldn't have to be tempted anymore. 😂 It's the perfect size for a martini and I use it more often than my full size cocktail shaker now!
    22. Dirty Sue olive brine: A plight that my fellow dirty martini enthusiasts know well is the disappointment of running out of olive brine before you finish your olives. This olive brine eliminates that issue! Of the few different olive brines I've tried, this one is definitely my favorite and I always keep a bottle in my fridge.
    23. New York Times Cooking: This year I found out that I have a free digital New York Times subscription through my employer, and I have majorly enjoyed the cooking newsletters and having access to their recipes! There are countless unique recipes to try, which are especially helpful when I get in a recipe rut where I don't know what to make for dinner. I highly recommend it, even if you have to pay for a subscription!
    24. Watches: It's hard to narrow down my favorite watches of the year, so I picked one from a few different categories. My favorite scripted series of the year was Overcompensating - I'm a big Benito Skinner fan so I knew his show would be good, but I didn't expect it to be so wholesome and endearing on top of being funny! I'm anxiously awaiting season two. My favorite reality series this year was The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives - I cannot get enough of them and their drama! My favorite docu-style show was Kings of Tupelo - It's a three-episode documentary that involves Elvis impersonators, black market organ sales, and a presidential assassination attempt... The people in the documentary are truly CHARACTERS and it's edited together so perfectly. My favorite new movie of the year was Marty Supreme - as an Uncut Gems superfan, I absolutely loved it. It's fresh because it came out less than a month ago, but it was hands-down the best new movie I saw all year! A non-new movie honorable mention was the Austin Powers trilogy - I did NOT expect to love those movies but I do! 😂

Happy New Year!!
