Another October in the books! I just love October. I also love this month's favorites!
- Yoga pants: I got these Target yoga pants last year and I've been loving wearing them again this fall. They're SO soft and stretchy and super high-waisted. I have the chocolate brown but they come in a few more colors. True to size, I take the small.
 - Queen Cosmetics lip gloss in Astral Projection: This is THE most amazing glitter lip gloss I've ever used! It's so densely glittery that I usually just dot it on and diffuse it with another gloss on top. I've mentioned it before, but I had to feature it again because I just noticed that the brand is available at Ulta now!! I've always ordered it from TikTok Shop, so it's nice to know that it's more widely available now.
 - Drop earrings: I loooove sparkly jewelry, especially as we approach the holiday season. I had to highlight this earring set from one of my favorite costume jewelry brands because it's BEYOND gorgeous and currently over 50% off - the stones seriously look like real diamonds!
 - Fleece pullover: I've been wearing this fleece pullover all month! It's sold out but I'm linking it anyway in case you want to sign up for restock notifications.
 - Ellis Brooklyn Aprés: This is the only perfume I have that I would categorize as a true "winter" perfume. I've been using travel sizes the past few years but just got a great deal on a full size one so I've been using it a lot this month. It smells like a snow day! Very cedary and a little boozy - the notes are juniper berries, bourbon, and cedarwood.
 - Cranberry Fizz Poppi: I discovered this last year at the end of the season when it was too late to stock up, but recently saw it at Costco so I grabbed a case! It's like a "healthy" version of the seasonal cranberry ginger ale.
 - Plaid cape: I've already gotten so much wear out of this cape this season - I styled it in this post! It's the perfect cozy layer that easily dresses up a casual outfit.
 - Silk sleep mask: I've been using this sleep mask for years and I have a few that I rotate between. I ordered a new one and was a little annoyed when it came in because it had padding in it that my other ones don't have! I ended up LOVING it because the padding cups around your eyes so it provides maximum light blockage without putting pressure on your eyes. They still sell the original version I love, so I don't know why I was sent the new one when I clicked "repurchase" on Amazon. The original one without the padding is the "Black_original" colorway, and the padded one is the "Black" colorway.
 - OPI Chick Flick Cherry: This has been my nail color of the month and it's a favorite - the perfect deep red that's not quite burgundy.
 - Purple wig: How's this for a wildcard favorite? 😂 I got this purple wig a few years ago to wear to JMU football games and it's a hit every season! You can get them in tons of different colors to match your team, so they're the perfect game day accessory.
 - The Life Of A Showgirl: As always, Taylor's new new album has garnered a lot of buzz, but I've seen many more negative opinions than I think is fair! I personally love the album - I was holding my breath that it would be more upbeat than her recent albums, because Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights were all fairly boring to me when they came out (although I really enjoy them in retrospect), and then The Tortured Poets Department was the final straw. 😂 I found it SO boring and I haven't even listened to the full extended version. My overall music listening habits really only include upbeat songs - I can appreciate slow songs, I just don't listen to them often, so I was SO excited to hear the new album was more my taste in that regard. My favorite song is Honey, and I really like all of the others besides Eldest Daughter, which I probably will not listen to much for aforementioned reasons.
 - Watching: For the first time in a long time, I have lots of shows to mention this month! Kenny and I have been watching Treme which follows several characters (some fictional, some playing themselves) as they navigate life in New Orleans post-Katrina. On the comedy front, we've been enjoying Chad Powers on Hulu and The Chair Compay on HBO. I enjoyed the trainwreck of this season of love is blind - what the heck is their casting department doing?? In the reality category, I've been loving the new seasons of Molly-Mae's show and The Kardashians. The Kardashian family will never get old to me (no pun intended 😂).

I hope you had a fabulous weekend! I've been trying to enjoy all of the fall colors while we have them - Kenny and I had not been up to the Shenandoah National Park in several weeks so we had to make sure to spend some time up there while the leaves are still beautiful!
